NSCDA (Operations) Ltd hosts the National Senior Athletics Championships at the Morton Stadium in Santry and hosts the National Junior Swimming Championships at the National Aquatic Centre in Abbotstown over the same weekend.

May 2010
Morton Stadium, Santry comes under the remit of NSCDA.

Minister visits National Aquatic Centre and views the campus.

April 2010
USA Junior All-Star Team participates in National Long Course Swimming Championships.

Swim Ireland High Performance Unit is formally launched at the National Aquatic Centre.

March 2010
Lodged Planning Application for refurbishment of ex Marine Institute Building as a new HQ for Irish Sport.

November 2009
The Irish Sports Council holds its Council meeting in Abbotstown for the first time ever.

NSCDA and Irish Institute of Sport (IIS) move into refurbished offices on Campus. The Authority and Institute are now fully based “on site” in Abbotstown.

October 2009
National Aquatic Centre wins 4 major Leisure Industry Awards.

August 2009
Grant of Planning Permission for development of National Sports Campus confirmed.

May 2009
Planning Application lodged with Fingal County Council.

December 2008
Completion of Design following consultation with the National Governing Bodies of the main end-user Sports.

July 2008
Mr Barry O'Brien appointed CEO of the National Sports Campus Development Authority.

April 2008
Government announces the appointment of Davis Langdon PKS as Project Managers and FaulknerBrown Architects as Design Team leaders respectively, and the commencement of Phase 1 of the National Sports Campus project.

December 2007
New Headquarters for Football Association of Ireland (FAI) is officially opened at Abbotstown.

May 2007
National Sports Campus Development Authority advertises a competition in the European Journal for the appointment of Design and Project Management teams.

January 2007
National Sports Campus Development Authority is formally established. Mr Dan Flinter appointed as Chairman.

December 2006
National Aquatic Centre reverts into State ownership and is now operated by a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Sports Campus Development Authority.

June 2006
